AAs part of the exhibition Whirling Return of the Ancestors at UW-Madison, we organized the 2018 African Studies Program Symposium (1:21:33) called "Honoring Ancestors in Africa and Beyond, Arts and Actions, April 6-8." Presenters included: Olusegun Soetan, Bolaji Campbell, Dzigbodi Akyea, Kim Miller, Sauda Smith, Moyo Okediji, Marguerite Lenius, Cheryl Sterling, Shannen Hill, Matthew Rarey, Egungun performance by members of Oyo-Tunji Village, South Carolina, Daniel Kodzo Avorgbedor, Michelle Craig, Oladipupo Oyeleye, Paulette Young, Janine Sytsma, and S.
